James Adam

My name is James Adam if you don’t know me then you’ll die very soon. No don’t worry I’am just messing with you. As i said my name is James Adam I’am the son of Posidon Half Blood which really means I’am half human half god many people will consider me as a loser in school but only if they knew the truth I could really do anything(do my father and Zues and a real god, not like me, for example my father can literally transform into water and walk as the shape of water) Zues can do all kinds of stuff (not really eveything but stuff like things I consider to be the truth about him) like transform to a human and pretend to be human for a few years have kids and leave because gods can’t have any physical contact with their childern so they leave and most children find out eventually or Mount Olympus eventually blames you for something you haven’t done. Like me I didn’t steal any lighting bolt and all of a sudden everyone starts calling me The Lighting Thief when it was Luke that actually stole it.

If you dont’t know Luke he is the son of Hermes and really has no powers. When I got there many people really trusted me for example Anabeth daughter of Athena hated me becuase of our parnts story until I proved her that I wasn’t like my father and found out that my father had sent a brother aswell

Overview:

3.When was curiosity rover launched ? 26th November,2011 at 07:02am

4.What is the name of the launched vehicle ?   Curiosity

Science:

6.What is the Top 5 results from curiosity have ?  Determine whether human life ever arose on Mars, Characterize climate on Mars, Characterize he geology on Mars,Prepare for Human expedition on Mars.

Rover:

7.How many wheels does Curiosity have ?4

8.What is the mission of curiosity ?Its mission is to see if Mars ever could have supported small life forms called microbes and if humans could survive there someday.

9.What are the specs of curiosity ?Length: 10 feet (3 meters), Width: 9 feet (2.7 meters), Height: 7 feet (2.2 meters), Mass: 1,982 pounds (899 kilograms).

10.Where does the rover gets its energy from ?Radioisotope power systems are generators that produce electricity from the natural decay of plutonium-238, which is a non-weapons-grade form of that radioisotope used in power systems for NASA spacecraft. Heat given off by the natural decay of this isotope is converted into electricity, providing constant power during all seasons and through the day and night.

Mission Timeline:

11.What are the names of the 13 stages for the curiosity approached and landing on Mars ?Cruise Stage Separation,Separation Cruise Balance Mass Devices (CBMD), Entry Interface, Peak Heating, Peak Deceleration, Hypersonic Aero-maneuvering, Parachute Deploy, Heatshield Separation, Radar Data Collection, Backshell Separation & Powered Descent,  Rover Separation & Mobility Deploy, Touchdown, Flyaway.

12.Hover over “Rover separation and mobility deploy”then whats is the name to the landing technique for the rover ? Sky crane

13.How does Sky Crane work ? It allows the rover to land safely on its wheels without any kind of extra cushioning. Think of a large crane on a construction site that lowers a steel beam for a skyscraper to the ground. What happens first is rover separation. Once the engines slow descent to about 1.7 miles per hour (0.75 meters per second), the descent stage maintains that downward speed until the rover touches down. Four out of eight retrorockets shut off before three nylon ropes (the bridle) and an “umbilical cord” begins to spool out. About 25 feet (7.5 meters) long, they lower Curiosity from the descent stage. The rover is now at an altitude of about 66 feet (about 20 meters) above the surface, and about 12 seconds before touchdown.

When did Curiosity land ? 10:32 p.m. PDT, Aug. 5, 2012

Where is Curiosity:

14.How long has curiosity been on Mars ? 2 Martian Years (1374 Earth Days)

Stick a Badge On It

Every badge available for you to earn can be found online on our special badge site: achieve.community.edutronic.net

When you submit something for assessment your teacher will evaluate it against the published criteria for each badge. You can submit work for assessment at any time – and the work can come from inside our outside the classroom.

The criteria is published in conjunction with each achievement badge, along with samples of other students’ work that has met the criteria, so you can be clear about the standards that are expected.

If your work successfully meets the criteria then your teacher will award you that badge. You will receive an email, it will be added to your Credly account and it will show up on the right side of the page whenever you log into the achievement site.

If you want to know more of what is required to unlock an achievement, simply click on its icon or title. Here are a few examples from English, Drama and Science:

This is Your Online Domain

Hello and welcome to your personal online journal.

Edutronic has been created to enhance and enrich your learning at the London Nautical School. Its purpose is to provide you with an audience for your work (or work-in-progress) and you have the choice (by altering the ‘visibility’ of your posts) of whether your work on here is visible to the world, or only to your teacher.

Anything you post here in the public domain represents you and thus it’s important that you take care with that decision, but don’t be afraid to publish your work – as the feedback you may get from people at home, your peers and people from around the internet is only likely to enhance it.

Remember you can always access your class blog and all manner of resources through the Edutronic main website – and by all means check out the sites of your peers to see what they’re getting up to as well.

If you have any questions for your teacher, an excellent way to get an answer is to create a new private post on this journal. Your teachers are am notified of any new posts and will reply swiftly to any queries.

Make the most of, and enjoy this new freedom in your English learning!
